So figure flattering is this attractive vintage "new old stock" (NOS) dress by Vera Maxwell with windowpane style plaid pattern, circa 1960s.

The well made dress has never been worn and consists of what feels like a linen and silk blend fabric with nubby dupioni texture and windowpane style plaid in colors of brown, beige and black.

The dress has quarter-length sleeves, scooped neckline, metal zippered back, and self covered belt with leather underside.

There are two embroidered labels – one label for “Vera Maxwell Original”, and the other for “Hathaway House”, “Laconia New Hamphire”.  The belt’s underside is also stamped “Vera Maxwell Original”, along with the letter "S", possibly to indicate a size Small.

Very good condition – clean, vibrant, and intact.
